Now that we have had a few ghosts, it is time to unleash some Goblins on the seventh night of Thirteen Ghouls of Halloween. “Those sure are some interesting costumes those kids have on”, the delivery driver thought to himself, “They get more imaginative each year.”
The Goblin King has brought his minions to the surface world in search of candy, candy, and more candy. Using his vastly superior intellect, he deduced that they should blend in with the populace and wear similar outfits. Fortunately for them many of the unsuspecting humans are also out in costumes and are none the wiser.
This one took quite a bit longer than I was planning. Apparently trying to decide on costumes for goblins to wear is more difficult than it seems.
These are just some of the varieties of goblin characters available for Daz3D. From left to right:
Robbus Goblin HD for Genesis 3 Male is wearing the Cowboy Outfit for Genesis 3 Male(s). While this character is already smaller than the standard human characters, I adjusted his size scale down to 89.4%.
Lesser Goblin for Genesis is wearing the Preppy for Genesis outfit. This character is only slightly shorter than the standard Daz human characters, so I ended up reducing his size down to 66.3%.
Greater Goblin for Genesis is wearing the M5 Casual Male outfit. This character is also only slightly shorter than the standard Daz human characters. However, since it is called the GREATER goblin, I decided to leave the him as a bigger size than all the others, only reducing him down to 81.2%.
Gobbo da Goblin HD is wearing the Air Outfit for Genesis 2 Male(s). I reduce Gobbo down to 77.8% of his standard size.
Hob Goblin HD is wearing the Pirate for Genesis and Genesis 2 Male(s). I also reduced the hobgoblin down to 77.8% of his standard size.
The last goblin is actually a mix of two goblins as I don’t actually own part of the required product for Goblar, so I mixed him with the Robbus Goblin. He is wearing the H&C Medical Scrubs Set for Genesis 3 Male(s). The hair comes with the Goblar character. I reduced his size to 79.6%. He also took the longest to render. Most of the characters rendered in only a few minutes, he took over 2 hours… mostly because of the hair.
The delivery driver is the David 5 character wearing the Delivery Driver for Genesis outfit (big surprise there, right?). I originally just wanted a human figure in the scene to help me judge the height of the goblins. However, the idea popped in to my head to keep him in the scene to show others the size difference (sometimes my brilliance astounds even me! [Feigning arrogance here.])
